Did you know that walls could have personalities? Here are some of my favorite ways to create statement walls. I hope you find one that works for you. Statements should not be overwhelming.  This is not a statement you want to make. I recommend looking for architectural elements that you want to highlight before you decide which wall and what materials you choose. Statement walls make more of a statement if you don’t incorporate too many in your home. Here are wall treatments that are popular now. Shiplap Many Street of Dreams houses this year are showing white or painted shiplap that have been favorites in modern farmhouse-style homes.   A favorite of mine is the “Scandinavian” light casual vibe that white painted shiplap gives to spaces.
