It's about texture at the Street of Dreams houses 2016!

  Texture is the mix of materials that create eye appeal and can even be sensuous! Part two of my Street of Dreams blog for my readers includes more ideas and inspirational photos to show how texture enhances a room. It can be subtle or fiercely dramatic! In this photo elegant champagne subway tile adds shine to the room. Unique tile shapes of gray give a unique look to this fireplace.   Grass weave shades that are layered with a beautiful sheers drape is a well-designed look for this window.   The frameless glass shower door and wood textured subway tile are an interesting trend. Dream Houses!

Enjoy these wonderful ideas from Dream Houses! The incredible homes in this year's Northwest Natural Street of Dreams are some of the best I have ever toured in my 15 years as an interior designer, particularly the setting in a vineyard overlooking the majestic Mt. Hood. I have been to many home tours in the United States and other countries during those years.  Here I am showcasing interior design highlights with the help of Shelly Pinnock of Elle M. Photography. To die for!  Lighted Wall Sconces on the fireplace and attractive wood floor. Marvelous oversized chandelier plus integrated indoor/outdoors. Amazing craftsmanship on the wall. Yes, you can incorporate different trim colors! It's in the elegant  details -- compatible color/materials in varied sizes and layout. Glass door that turns into an awning when open. Great example of scale and proportion -- large chandelie
