Dining & Family Room design plan

Welcome to my blog!

This is a two part blog. Today I will share with you the Design Plan for a Living & Dining Room interior design project. Part two will be the "Living & Dining Room Reveal!"

This project is a great sample of what a Du interiors UltimateDesign Package” looks like.

The main focus was to create a complete design plan for the living room and make recommendations for purchases for the Dining Room and Entry to tie all of these spaces together.

We used many of the pieces that the client already owned and simply added the finishing touches to pull each of these spaces together. We selected big ticket items that are timeless and built to last and we personalized each of these spaces with punches of color and fun accessories that can be easily and relatively inexpensively changed in the future.

Oh, the joy of accessories!

Du interiors project A person can have a lovely home with nice things and it can look attractive but the overall effect is that nothing really grabs the eye.  What could make the pleasantly ordinary come alive are well-placed accessories. It is with decorative objects that a home gets its personality. Their color, form, texture and design transform a room from OK to “wow”.
